Best Haircuts for Spring: Cuts and Colors for the Flock

Can you imagine having no say? Can you fathom if teams of people corralled you (albeit humanely) with your friends and shaved your head? Of course not! The indignity.

Yet, each year, millions of sheep around the world are victims to this poverty of style. Without voice or opposable thumbs to take a round brush into their own hands, flocks of sheep must live with the embarrassment of receiving the exact same buzzcut as their friends, families and broader communities.

Help stop the madness.

Ibex is launching a campaign to beautify the flocks: “Silent Sheep, Super Style.”

Armed with flat irons, perm solution and high wattage blow dryers, our “Silent Sheep, Super Style” (4xS) team will not stand idly by as unfashionable shearers try to turn every ewe and ram into Yul Brynner.

We can’t do it alone. We need your help.

Passion of this depth has been unmatched since the days of Jonathan Antin, celebrity hairstylist from Bravo’s reality triumph, Blow Out. (If you were asleep from 2005 to 2006 and missed the magnum opus, you can catch up via the “Blow Out Fan Club” on MySpace. We’re not kidding.) Together we can capture that particular brand of Antin spirit and bring style to our underrepresented ungulate friends.

When a society pulls together to give voice to the voiceless and empower the powerless, there is no end to the number of great cuts and colors we can achieve. Please help by donating your time and money to 4xS. For a fraction of what you regularly spend on haircare, 4xS can bring a Farrah, a Rachel, a pixie, a bob or even a mullet to hundreds of sheep.

The time is now. Shearing season begins soon. (Donations are not tax deductible.)
