Ibex Spring 2013 Line

The most notorious sign of spring isn’t from a groundhog, a blooming crocus or the god-forsakenly premature daylight savings time in March. Obviously, the most reliable and anticipated sign of spring is the intro of the Ibex spring/summer line.

Yes, Virginia, you can wear Merino wool all year. Unless, of course, you resist highly breathable, easy-wicking, odor-resistant clothing in the warmer months? The key to comfort is choosing the proper lightweight, low micron blend for your lifestyle.

Spring 2013 is chock full of new fabrics, new styles and new colors for some of the Ibex classics you already know and love. Without further ado….

New Synergy Collection: Sustainable Activewear

Updated for spring with a lighter weight fabric (20-grams lighter if you’re counting), the new Synergy collection boasts a trifecta of fiber goodness. Merino wool provides next-to-skin softness and performance; GOTS-certified organic cotton offers supreme support and comfort; a hint of Lycra provides stretch.

This new blend is knit for movement, making it ideal for: yoga, climbing, running and any other way you like to push your body. Of course, it also embodies the Ibex design sensibility. So every performance attribute is matched by easy-going, versatile styling to roll directly from a Pilates class to a post-workout coffee with friends.

Bonus: All Synergy garments are sewn entirely in the USA in Ibex factories in Northern California.

Available in three styles for men and eight styles for women, asking us to choose our favorites is like asking us to announce our favorite children. Take a look here to choose for yourself. In the meantime, let’s just say you may see Ibex girl rocking Warrior II in the Synergy Criss Cross Tank and the Synergy Fit Pant.

New Rim Collection: Technical, Body-conscious Performance

The gear in our new Rim Collection has a technical edge to it – with a knit blend of 89-percent Merino wool and 11-percent stretch nylon. Rim garments are super lightweight and fit like a glove for high endurance activities like: trail running, racing, fast packing and cycling.

A tank, a “T,” and a full-zip for men match with a tank, “T,” half-zip and skort for women. Check out the men’s Rim Collection here and the women’s Rim tops and skort here. And check out the two new men’s Rim cycling jerseys here.

New Flair for Beloved Styles

You know when you fall in love with one piece of clothing and you buy it in multiples? For Spring 2013, Ibex is supporting your right to do just that, while ensuring that your wardrobe doesn’t get monotonous. We’ve checked in with our fan-favorite standards and added fresh bouts of sun-drenched color.

These are the new colors for old favorites in 2013:

Men’s Ace Shirt. You remember that little shirt Backpacker Magazine named the “Best Shirt in the World?” Available in three spring colors: pond, rope and black.

The feminine counterpart and fellow “Best Shirt in the World,” the Ciara short sleeve adds happy hues like coral and green grass, among others.

Our U-Sixty T, for both men and women, pretty much owns the color wheel with six colors for men and six colors for women. Can you say “double rainbow?”

Ibex spring styles are available…now! Don’t wait for March 20th to get your wardrobe equinox and warm weather-ready.
