Canine Christmas came early this year in White River Junction when Purina stopped by to award our dogs their share of the winnings in the Nestlé Purina “Pets at Work” contest. Ibex was proud and excited to earn the top prize for 2013, which in addition to a notable charitable donation under our name, included a generous cash prize for more dog-friendly paraphernalia around the office.
We’re happy to report our fashionable canines have spent every last cent of that money on the latest in doggy accessories, comforts and cleanliness.
The runaway winners in the “Favorite New Things” category have been the cozy cave beds. Part bed, part sleeping bag, and all luxurious comfort, the cozy cave beds seem to be responsible for a distinct drop in canine productivity.
When nap time hits, the dogs have banded together and corralled us behind these “human gates” to keep the ruckus down. It’s a miracle of modern engineering, especially considering our talented pups have no opposable thumbs by which to close them. They send out the herding group and we oblige.
And, of course, everyone got some new bling.
After a brisk run and a toss (or 80) of the Frisbee, business must be done. Ibex dogs enjoy the scenic privacy and sanitation of a new doggie doo composter.
